The importance of the college has in fact that this college provides education not only to Mewat region of Haryana but also to the neighbouring districts of western U.P. and Rajasthan. Mewat region is one of the most backward (both educationally & economically) regions of India, especially of Haryana. Majority of the population resides in villages.

There are some countable achievements of the college. Since its inception in 1971, it has multiplied the total strength and the number of graduates in the area which earlier could be counted on fingertips. The number of graduates produced by the institution has reached nearly eighteen hundred. It is once again the remarkable achievement of the college that few of these graduates rose to the status of Judicial Officers, Executive Officers, Police Officers and M.L.As’. More than three dozen advocates basically graduated from this college, are in practice in various courts. It is also worth mentioning here that several teachers who have worked hare have joined I.P.S., I.E.S.  and different national and international institutions to rise the status of professors.
